    Richard Wright QC & Simon Batiste Secure Conviction of School Teachers who Sexually Abused Children in their Care

    Richard Wright QC and Simon Batiste today successfully prosecuted Roy Lovatt and Roy Allen for a large number of sexual offences. Both worked at the Thorpe Arch Grange children’s home with Allen going on to be headmaster. Roy Lovatt was sentenced to a total of 28 years imprisonment for a catalogue of sexual offences against 6 different children during the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.
