PSQB win “Chambers of the Year” at the 2020 Yorkshire Legal Awards

Park Square Barristers won Chambers of the Year at last night’s Yorkshire Legal Awards. PSQB were shortlisted for 5 other awards : Family Team of the Year, Criminal Team of the Year, Regulatory Team of the Year and Kate Batty was shortlisted for Criminal Lawyer of the Year and Yorkshire Lawyer of the Year.

Robert Stevenson secures fine reduction due to the impact of Covid-19

In January of this year, a well-known fish and chip restaurant and takeaway in North Yorkshire was sentenced to a fine of £75,000 after pleading guilty to an offence of failing to ensure the health and safety of their employees, contrary to s.2(1) and s.33(1)(a) of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
