After a 25-year career as a Legal Adviser and then Legal Team Manager in the Magistrates’ Courts, Andrew commenced practice in 2012.  He regularly appears in the Magistrates’ Court and Youth Court for the prosecution or defence and frequently conducts appeals against conviction and sentence in the Crown Court. With his long experience, Andrew has expertise in all types of matters heard by Magistrates and has a good success rate in contested cases.  He has achieved particular success in representing motorists facing the loss of their driving licence.

Andrew accepts prosecution work on behalf of local authorities.  He has experience of advising in a wide range of matters including consumer protection, weights and measures and trade-mark offences.
