Catherine Moxon handles all areas of family law, including children law and family finance.
She is particularly experienced in children-law work and in representing applicants and respondents in all types of public and private law work. She is very experienced in cases involving cultural sensitives, language barriers and domestic violence.
Catherine is trusted when dealing with both private- and public-law emergency orders, and understands the balance between being thorough and acting swiftly.
Training & education
Catherine has a particular interest in education and has spent almost a decade building up a portfolio of work in this area. Catherine is a Chair of Schools Admissions Appeals in Leeds. Catherine works for the Bar Standards Board as both an External Examiner and question writer for BPTC examinations. She and a Senior Lecturer are jointly responsible for maintaining standards across two major university BPTC courses. Catherine has also taught courtroom skills, been a mooting judge and BPTC mentor.
