Before embarking on a career in law Chelsea was a very successful business owner. Being an employer, Chelsea developed a keen interest in Employment Law, which fuelled her ambition to join the Bar.
Prior to commencing pupillage at Park Square Barristers, Chelsea was employed as a Litigation Executive, where she gained extensive experience in civil, commercial and chancery litigation. Her caseload included high value breach of contract claims against government bodies, high value contested probate matters, and complex bankruptcy disputes. Chelsea also quickly developed experience in Employment Litigation through pro bono and consultancy work she undertook with various employment firms in Leeds.
Chelsea has also worked as a County Court Advocate and appeared in the County Courts nationally. She regularly accepted instructions in commercial and contractual disputes, which deal with complex areas such as Limitation, Negligence and Breach of Contract. Chelsea also has experience of appearing in RTA matters on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants.
In her spare time Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family especially her daughter. She is also a retired professional dancer and has previously travelled the world as part of a dance troupe with the company she worked for.
