Prior to her pupillage Chelsea gained significant experience of representing clients in personal injury matters in road traffic accidents, employers/occupier’s liability, holiday sickness, industrial disease and clinical negligence claims on behalf of both Claimants and Defendants in the firms where she previously worked.

Chelsea regularly attends Fast-Track Trials, Small-Claims, Disposals, Stage 3s, Infant Settlements and Interim Applications. She also advises on liability and quantum.

Chelsea is experienced in cases involving Credit Hire, Low-Velocity-Impact, Fundamental Dishonesty, and s.57 of the 2015 Criminal Justice and Courts Act.

Chelsea has previously appeared in the Civil Appeal Court in Leeds where she was instructed to represent the Claimant in an appeal against a Deputy District Judges Decision to strike out a claim for an Abuse of Process.

Paper Practice

Chelsea accepts instructions to draft pleadings and is happy to provide pre-action advice on the merits of individual cases. She is happy to work to short deadlines where papers need to be turned around quickly.

Public Access

Chelsea may accept Public Access work, where she can be instructed directly by a member of the public rather than a solicitor.
