Eleanor regularly prosecutes in the Crown Court and the Magistrates’ Court within her capacity as a CPS Level 2 Panel Advocate. In this role, she often deals with serious and complex cases including conspiracies relating to theft and drugs, serious assaults in a domestic setting and exposure in public. Eleanor has received instructions from the CPS in the capacity as a junior and as a disclosure junior and is aware of the responsibilities associated with the roles. She has a firm understanding of the sensitivities surrounding PII applications and the ongoing obligation of disclosure.

Eleanor also has defence experience, representing individuals at all stages of the Court process, including for sexual offences in the Crown Court. Her role as a prosecutor and defender also extends to dealing with sensitive matters in the Youth Court. She prides herself on her client care and ability to handle witnesses, clients and professional connections.

Eleanor has a keen interest in crime and has a methodical and thorough approach to her work which has been apparent from the feedback received. She would gratefully receive instructions in a variety of criminal proceedings.

Eleanor has a growing regulatory and public law practice. She has an extensive personal background in agriculture and is hoping to build a successful practice in environmental, agricultural and waste management matters using her first-hand expertise in the area.
