Joseph enjoys a busy personal injury practice and is regularly instructed to represent both Claimant and Defendant.
Joseph has a wealth of experience of claims arising from road traffic accidents and also employer’s liability, occupier’s liability and holiday sickness. He is able to provide assistance throughout the claim’s life, including: drafting pleadings and advice on quantum and/or liability; representation in a range of pre-trial applications and hearings; and representation at trial or MOJ Stage 3 hearings.
Joseph also has considerable experience in credit hire claims and is well-versed in the usual arguments and all recent developments in case law.
Joseph also has experience of matters involving dangerous animals under the Animals Act 1971.
Joseph completed a common law pupillage under the supervision of Christopher Moran. During his pupillage, he spent time with James Wilson, an experienced Civil Fraud practitioner.

Joseph accepts instructions in a variety of contractual and commercial disputes. Joseph is regularly instructed to draft pleadings and to advise on a broad range of issues, including potential breaches and/or causes of action.
Joseph has considerable experience in chancery matters. His work includes representing clients in respect of insolvency proceedings, winding up petitions and bankruptcy orders.
Joseph is also familiar with liability orders and has been instructed in an application to set aside the same.

Joseph is a Grade 1 Prosecutor.
Joseph both prosecutes and defends in trials in the Magistrates’ Court involving serious assaults, sexual offences, domestic violence and road traffic offences. Joseph also accepts instructions in the Crown Court in a range of hearings including appeals against sentence and conviction. Joseph has previously appeared in proceeds of crime proceedings on behalf of the Defendant in respect of a large drug trafficking conspiracy.
Joseph also prosecutes and defends in the Youth Court and has been praised for his cross-examination of young witnesses.
