Naomi has a wealth of experience in representing Claimants and Defendants in a variety of personal injury matters such as EL/PL cases, road traffic accidents and industrial disease matters at all stages of proceedings. Naomi is happy to offer advice and represent parties from initial advice through to trial.
Naomi undertakes work at all stages from advisory work, drafting pleadings, schedule of loss, Part 35 questions, attending CCMCs and JSMs as well as attending trials.
Through her experience as an Advocate at DWF and her work as a ‘Junior Junior’ for the Government Legal Department, Naomi has experience of prison claims and is familiar with prison procedures and processes.
Naomi is experienced in disputes arising out of the Fixed Recoverable Costs regime and regularly provides advice or representation at hearings concerning costs/procedural issues.
Naomi was employed as a Fee Earner at a large national firm where she ran a caseload of Noise Induced Hearing Loss claims and assisted with other industrial disease claims including occupational stress and HAVS. As a result she has substantial experience in dealing with industrial disease matters and is familiar with both the CLB guidelines 2000 and the LCB Guidelines 2015.
Naomi accepts instructions for both Claimants and Defendants in all industrial disease matters. She is able to provide advices and settle pleadings within a short period of time.
Naomi regularly deals and achieves success with credit hire matters at all stages of proceedings. Naomi regularly provides bespoke external training on the topic which ensures she is up to date on the most recent developments.
Naomi has experience of dealing with Qualified One Way Costs Shifting and allegations of fundamental dishonesty. She regularly deals with matters involving civil fraud, low velocity impact cases and exaggerated personal injury claims.
