Oliver has a particular interest in financial remedy cases having completed his first-class dissertation at Durham University on the topic of the common intention constructive trust as applied to sole legal title disputes between cohabitants. The work was described as a “stellar piece of original research” by the examiner.

He has experience of matrimonial finance disputes from first appointment to final hearing and has advised on cases involving complex trust of land documents.
