Samreen has undertaken both prosecution and defence work in the youth, Magistrates’ and Crown Courts.

She has prosecuted on behalf of the Crown Prosecution Service’s Complex Casework Unit, Rape and Serious Sexual Offences Unit, Proceeds of Crime Unit, Organised Crime Division, the National Crime Agency, Department for Work and Pensions, National Wildlife Crime Unit and Serious Fraud Division.

In terms of defence work, Samreen’s practice encompasses the full range of criminal law including:

  • Terrorism offences
  • Drugs offences
  • Sexual offences
  • Violent offences

Samreen also represents defendants and interveners in respect of Proceeds of Crime Act applications in the Crown Court.
