Four men have been found guilty of killing a teenage boy.

The trial lasted 10 days at Leeds Crown Court and involved the presentation of medical, extensive CCTV and voice recording evidence.

Soheil Khan was instructed to represent one of five defendants who then became the lead defendant during the trial, charged by the police with possession of an explosive substance and a conspiracy to produce butane honey oil (BHO).

The defendant Ken Chik was convicted after a 4 week trial in September 2021 at Hull Crown Court for offences included rape, attempted rape, sexual assault, sexual activity with a child, causing a child to engage in sexual activity and cruelty.

A serial sex offender who preyed on young girls in Scarborough in the 1970’s and 1980’s has been jailed for over 11 years following a 5 day trial at York Crown Court.

Soheil Khan recently secured convictions in this case, involving a 76 year old defendant charged with historic offences of indecent assault, and more recent offences including rape and attempted rape.

Soheil recently secured convictions against 2 defendants for offences of causing or allowing a child to suffer serious injury, despite their acquittals for causing GBH with intent. The couple were prosecuted as a result of very serious injuries being detected upon their neonatal twin children.

Soheil was instructed in this case by Ashmans Solicitors to represent one of five defendants. She was charged with assisting an offender and tried alongside her son and others who faced charges of murder and assisting offenders.
