10 years and 3 months Imprisonment for an IFA Fraudster Prosecuted by Craig Hassall and Giles Grant.

The defendant defrauded in excess of £750,000 from 41 victims including elderly and vulnerable pension clients and other independent financial advisers over a period of years.

After a 9 week trial the Defendant was convicted of all eight counts including fraud by false representation, making articles for use in fraud, providing financial advice when not authorised and contempt of court.

HHJ Clark commended the prosecution team for their conduct in the case which involved multiple financial industry experts and included a significant volume of material.

The Defendant received a sentence of 10 years and 3 months and was disqualified from being a director for 9 years.
