£150k robbers snared by their own tracking device jailed – Katherine Robinson prosecutes, Glenn Parsons and Vince Blake-Barnard defend

The defendants Michael Crosdale and Robert Fiarweather were convicted of robbery following a trial at Leeds Crown Court.

The men stole goods worth more than £150,000 targeting Chinese restaurants and takeaways by fitting tracking devices to their victims vehicles allowing them to rob their homes while they were out.

Their scheme was discovered when a tracker was recovered from one of their victims vehicles.

Both defendants were sentenced to a 15 year jail term.
