17 year old boy pleads guilty to Newcastle Solicitor murder – Richard Wright QC prosecutes

A 17-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to murdering a lawyer with a screwdriver outside a Newcastle shopping centre.

Peter Duncan was attacked by a group of youths on 14 August.

The teenager appeared at Leeds Crown Court via video link.

Sentence has been adjourned to December.
