The first preliminary hearing in Module 9 of the Covid Inquiry, chaired by the Rt Hon Baroness Heather Hallett DBE, was held today, Wednesday 23rd October 2024 at Dorland House, London.
Module 9 will examine, and make recommendations on, the economic response to the pandemic and in particular the economic support for business, jobs, the self-employed, vulnerable people, and those on benefits and the impact of key interventions.

On the 8th October 2024 members of Park Square Barristers attended a networking event held at Newcastle University.
“The Appellant. the Master of a Fishing Vessel and had pleaded guilty to four offences relating to landing of lobsters that were not permitted. He appeared unrepresented in the Magistrates’ Court and was fined a total of £30 000, made up of a fine of £7 500 on each charge.
