Abdul Iqbal QC secures acquittal on all counts in Coventry murder trial

Abdul Iqbal QC leading Amir Riaz of counsel (instructed by K Legal Solicitors, Birmingham) has secured the acquittal of Zaker Khan on counts of murder, two counts of wounding with intent, violent disorder, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The acquittals relate to a 2-month trial before Mr Justice Warby at Warwick Crown Court dealing with the murder of Daniel Kirkwood in Coventry in 2015 and the stabbing of two of his friends.
