Acquittal In Large Scale Drugs Conspiracy – Ian Hudson defends
Park Square BarristersIan Hudson represented Christopher Hickson who was acquitted after a 3 month trial at Teesside Crown Court.
Operation Ebony (2015-2016) was an investigation conducted by Durham police into the large scale supply of high purity Class A drugs in the North East of England.
8 defendants faced trial in respect of the conspiracy, the prosecution alleging that Christopher Hickson played a significant role and was responsible for the day to day management of the conspiracy.
The prosecution case was based around voluminous amounts of cell-site evidence, phone data and undercover surveillance observations.
The jury retired for almost 2 weeks before returning their not guilty verdict.
