Bar Pro Bono Awards 2020 – The late John Collins nominated for the Lifetime Achievement Award

The nominees for the 2020 Bar Pro Bono Awards have been announced and we are delighted that John Collins has been nominated for the Sydney Elland Goldsmith Lifetime Achievement Award.

John Collins was a legend at the Bar and very sadly John passed away in April this year but his legend lives on.

Supported by the Bar Council, the Bar Pro Bono Awards recognise outstanding commitment to pro bono work by barristers and chambers.

John Collins spent his whole life and career dedicated to helping others.

The North Eastern Circuit submitted the entry for John to recognise that dedication and pay tribute to his achievements

The awards ceremony will take place remotely in November..
