Caroline Wigin Selected to Sit in the Criminal Injuries Compensation Tribunal

We are delighted to announce that Caroline Wigin has been appointed to sit in the Criminal Injuries Compensation Tribunal.

The Criminal Injuries Compensation (CIC) Scheme is a government-funded scheme designed to compensate blameless victims of violent crime in Great Britain.

CIC judges sit on panels of two or three with medical and specialist members and they adjudicate whether or not to make an award of compensation – a victim  may be entitled to compensation ranging from £1,000 to £500,000.

Caroline, who already sits as a Recorder, will continue to practice at the Bar in Crime, Family and Regulatory.
