Christopher Dunn Prosecutes Trans-gender Inmate for Prison Sex Offences

In a case that has attracted national media interest, Christopher Dunn appeared on behalf of the Crown Prosecution Service to prosecute a trans-gender prisoner who sexually assaulted two inmates at a women’s jail.

Karen White was sentenced to life imprisonment, with a minimum term of 9 years, yesterday by Judge Christopher Batty.

Opening the case, Christopher Dunn told the court that White was allegedly a transgender female who used a transgender persona to put herself in contact with vulnerable persons so she could abuse them.

In passing sentence Judge Batty told White “You are a predator and highly manipulative and in my view you are a danger. You represent a significant risk of serious harm to children, to women and the to the general public”
