The speakers will be providing insight into the recommendations of Lord Justice Jackson’s Report on Fixed Recoverable Costs in personal injury claims, which is likely to be implemented in early 2019. This significantly extends the fixed recoverable costs system and introduces a new intermediate track for most claims valued at £100,000 or less. The talk will provide delegates with information about the procedure and fixed costs of the new intermediate track and how the proposals are expected to apply to Noise Induced Hearing Loss claims and clinical negligence claims. The talk will also provide an update on Part 36 and fixed costs to date as well as looking forward to how the reforms propose to change Part 36.
