Hull neighbour killer given hospital order – Patrick Palmer prosecutes

A woman who beat her neighbour to death with a metal pole has been sentenced to an indefinite hospital order.

The defendant, Sherry Moore, pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.

Moore had been sectioned under the Mental Health Act on six previous occasions.
