Ian Hudson represents Contempt of Court Teenager who was “too ill to attend Jury service”

Ian Hudson represented 19 year old Aqib Wahid at Bradford Crown Court before HHJ Jonathan Rose.

Wahid had been on jury service and was a member of the jury hearing a grievous bodily harm trial but towards the end of the case he contacted the Court to say he was not well enough to attend.

The Trial Judge requested a sick note but when this was not produced Judge Rose ordered Wahid before the Court and Ian Hudson was appointed to represent him.

Further details of the case can be found on The Yorkshire Post.
