Jury returns narrative in prison custody death

A jury at the Coroners Court for County Durham and Darlington has found that multiple factors contributed to the death of Michael Smith, a prisoner at HMP Durham, following an inquest into his death. The Coroner indicated that he will be making a report to prevent future deaths.
