Keighley Man jailed for 16 years after stabbing another man twice with a flick knife, PSQB’s Chris Dunn acted on behalf of the prosecution

Amr Raheem, 23, has been jailed for 16 years at Bradford Crown court after being found guilty of stabbing another man with a flick knife in Keighley town centre. Raheem, of North Dean Road, Keighley, was convicted by a jury at Bradford Crown Court of wounding the man with intent to do him grievous bodily harm.

The offence in Keighley town centre in broad daylight was captured on CCTV. It was before the Covid-19 lockdown and the streets were teeming with people. The Recorder of Bradford, Judge Richard Mansell QC, said that he had been found guilty on the clearest of evidence.

PSQB’s Christopher Dunn prosecuted the trial.
