Matthew Harding Secures Acquittal in Large-scale Cigarette Importation Conspiracy

Matthew Harding represented the alleged ‘warehouseman’ of over 7 million cigarettes. The cigarettes, that would have attracted around £1.8m in duty, were found in the defendant’s business premises. He was acquitted at the conclusion of a four-day trial at Leeds Crown Court.
