Naomi McLoughlin appears at Inquest into the death of Adam StanmorePark Square Barristers
Naomi McLoughlin appeared alongside Senior Counsel before Assistant Coroner, Sonia Hayes in Oxford Coroners Court.
The Inquest was adjourned in May 2021 after the Jury heard eight days of evidence and recommenced for a period of five days in July 2021.
The Inquest considered the actions of multiple agencies who were involved with Adam Stanmore after he had been arrested and tasered by police on 18 May 2019. Mr Stanmore was taken to the custody suite where paramedics were then called due to his low blood sugar. During the journey to hospital, Mr Stanmore asked to leave the ambulance. He was later found by police in the area but wa then reported missing four days later.
The cause of death was determined to be hanging with an overdose of insulin. The Jury concluded a lack of information sharing by police, the ambulance service and other health services contributed to his death.
