Nathan Davis successfully represents prison health care provider in multi-day article 2 jury inquest.

Nathan represented a prison healthcare provider for a multi-day article 2 jury Inquest before Her Majesty’s Senior Coroner for Worcestershire. The Inquest was held as a hybrid hearing with counsel and witnesses appearing remotely.

The inquest concerned the self-inflicted death of a long-term prisoner at a category A prison. Nathan successfully persuaded the Coroner that a short-form conclusion was appropriate in this case. The jury subsequently returned a short-from conclusion of suicide.

The Coroner was further persuaded that on the facts of this case no PFD report was warranted.

Nathan has a developing Inquest practice and is available for instruction.
