New Legal Year – Richard Wright QC, Mark McKone QC and Craig Hassall QC attend Westminster Hall

Judges and members of the Legal profession gathered in Westminster Abbey on Friday 1st October to mark the start of the new legal year.

The annual service, which dates back to 1897, was conducted by the Dean of Westminster, the Very Reverend Dr David Hoyle.

Readings were given the Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice, the Rt Hon Domonic Raab MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Rt Honourable Lord Burnett.

Leader of the North Eastern Circuit and PSQB Head of Chambers, Richard Wright QC was in attendance along with new PSQB silks Mark McKone QC and Craig Hassall QC.
