Newcastle Solicitor Murder – Teenager Jailed for Life – Richard Wright QC Prosecutes

A teenager who stabbed a solicitor to death as he was walking home from work has been jailed for life with a minimum term of 15 years.

The defendant, Ewan Ireland, was 17 when he attacked Peter Duncan with a screwdriver outside a Newcastle shopping centre in August.

Richard Wright QC prosecuted the case.
