Park Square Barristers goes global

Nicholas Barker, a member of Park Square Barristers‘ criminal team in Leeds with particular interest in counter-terrorism cases, is taking his expertise overseas with a five-week tour of Africa in February and March 2015. He is delivering a counter terrorism training program in Somalia for the FCO, then travelling to Nigeria to undertaken a review of the Magistrates Court system. With barely time to draw breath he is then travelling to Somaliland via Ethiopia to deliver a course to Judges who deal with Terrorism Cases. Nick has drawn on his extensive knowledge of counter-terrorism to write and design all the courses.

He is finishing his whirlwind tour with a week long review of the Nigerian Institute for Advanced legal Studies to advise on its suitability to provide training programs to the complex case work group.
