Prison officer jailed for plot to smuggle drugs and phones into HMP Leeds – Katherine Robinson prosecutes

A junior prison officer has been jailed for a plot to smuggle drugs and mobile phones into HMP Leeds for inmates and gang members.

Daniel Annakin from Wakefield was jailed for three years and nine months.

Two serving prisoners and their girlfriends were also jailed for their role in the conspiracy.

Katherine Robinson prosecuted the case.
