PSQB takes part in Leeds Beckett University “Law Enrichment week”

Park Square Barristers has taken part in the annual Leeds Beckett University “Law Enrichment week”.

Each year Leeds Law School invites prominent Leeds based Law firms to take students on an “Insight Day”.

The week long initiative has included contributions by Eversheds Sutherland, Jones Myers Law, Ward Hadaway, Beaumont Legal and Oakwood Solicitors.

The program has provided presentations on networking tip, mediations, using legal databases, pro bono work and recruitment opportunities.

PSQB invited 8 students this morning into Chambers.

Senior Managing Clerk, Richard Sadler, talked about his role and career in the Clerks Room. The students were then given a tour round Chambers and then they were given the opportunity to sit in the clerks room with the different clerking teams.

The Insight Day finished with a Q&A with  Head of Family Team Charlotte Worsley, criminal practitioner Chris Moran and Shannon Woodley, who starts her PSQB pupillage in September 2019.
