Richard Wright QC secures manslaughter acquittal

Richard Wright QC of Park Square Barristers has secured an acquittal in a gross-negligence manslaughter case.

Instructed by Marcus Thopham Solicitors, Richard successfully defended an allegation that Daniel Kedge was guilty of manslaughter by gross negligence in the context of a heroin overdose. Following an 8-day trial before Mr Justice Globe at Leeds Crown Court, the defendant was found not guilty by the unanimous verdict of the jury. (BBC News.)
