PSQB to Sponsor Theatrical Court Room Drama “Learned Friends”

We are delighted to support and promote the theatrical court room drama “Learned Friends”

PSQB has joined other Leeds based firms including Weightman’s Solicitors, Gately PLC and Brewin Dolphin Financial Services to sponsor the production.

There will be 3 performances of “Learned Friends” and these will take place at Leeds Crown Court on Saturday 9 March 2019 at 12 noon, 2:30pm and 5:00pm.

The Show’s producer, Ginny Davis writes:

“LEARNED FRIENDS” is a site specific courtroom drama in which  prosecution and defence counsel battle it out behind the scenes of the trial of a high profile football manager before members of the audiences  decide how the play will end. Will the defendant be found guilty or not guilty? Neither cast nor crew know until the jury decide. 

Previous performances have sold out at the Crown Courts in Birmingham and Manchester as well as theOld Bailey and former Crown Court buildings in Warwick and Stafford.

Written by former barrister, Edinburgh Fringe sell-out and award-winning writer Ginny Davis who plays prosecution counsel alongside Sharon Baylis (The Bill, Emmerdale, Juliet Bravo, Bergerac) playing defence counsel. Other members of the company include former National Theatre and RSC actor Michael Bott.

Three performance (12 noon, 2.30 pm and 5.00 pm)  will take place on Saturday 9th March 2019 at Leeds Combined Court Centre.   Tickets are available here: https://learnedfriends.eventbrite.co.uk   Every ticket purchased includes a £5 donation to Simon on the Streets registered charity.
