Suspended Sentence for involvement in £2.5million Drugs Conspiracy – Ian Hudson defends

Ian Hudson represented 1 of 14 defendants sentenced over a 2 day hearing at Bradford Crown Court.

The case concerned a conspiracy to supply  large amounts of diamorphine and cocaine  in Bradford  between July 2017 and August 2018. The prosecution estimated the amount of drugs supplied to be in the region of 35kgs with a value in the region of £2.5million.

The conspiracy operated through “ring and bring” supply chain which involved a three stage process between those involved.

The defendant represented by Ian Hudson had repeatedly supplied Class A drugs directly to street users over a period of  several months.

Following written and oral submissions, the defendant was given a suspended sentence.  All other 13 defendants at the sentence hearing received immediate custodial sentences.
