Teenager who Killed 4 People in Car Crash Sentenced – Richard Wright QC prosecutes
Park Square BarristersA teenager who killed 4 people when he crashed a stolen car during a police chase has been sentenced to 11 and a half years in a young offenders institution.
Richard Wright QC prosecuted the case at Doncaster Crown Court.
The defendant Elliot Bower drove at speeds reaching 100mph before crashing and hitting a people carrier.
Bower had pleaded guilty in December to four counts of causing death by dangerous driving and three counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Two other defendants involved in the incident were jailed for aggravated vehicle taking.
