Three Bradford men jailed for brutal machete attack – Katherine Robinson prosecutes

Three men have been jailed for a total of 24 years for a machete attack on a lone driver in Bradford in September last year.

The sentencing Judge, Richard Mansell QC, described the attach as an “appalling example of premeditated gang violence”

Rishwan Basharat was jailed for 9 years, Kamran Khan was jailed for 8 years, and Aksah Ali was jailed for nearly 7 years.

A fourth defendant remains on the run.

Katherine Robinson prosecuted the case and the trial for the CPS.
