Transferring solicitor Laura Hilton joins PSQB Civil Team
Park Square BarristersWe are delighted to welcome Laura Hilton who will join Park Square Barristers on 1 November.
Laura is a transferring solicitor and will undertake a short conversion pupillage over the next 4 months, being supervised by Stuart Young.
Laura is a personal injury solicitor experienced in both Claimant and Defendant work. Laura spent the longest time in practice working at DAC Beachcroft, dealing with fast and multi-track litigation for a variety of major insurer clients. Laura was also approved to carry out work on behalf of NHS Resolution as part of the DAC Beachcroft panel team, and acted regularly for local NHS Trusts.
After taking a career break, Laura taught both undergraduate and postgraduate students studying for their qualifying law degree, the legal conversion course (GDL), and the Legal Practice Course at The University of Law.
At the beginning of 2021, Laura decided that the next step in her career was to transfer to the Bar.
Laura impressed everyone at PSQB during her interview and it was an easy decision for us to take.
Laura will undertake 4 weeks of shadowing and will be available for instructions from 29 November.
