YLA – Kama Melly QC wins Yorkshire Lawyer of the Year

We are delighted that one of the top individual honours at last night’s Yorkshire Legal Awards went to PSQB Deputy Head of Chambers, Kama Melly QC, for Lawyer of the Year.

Paul Singh from Sheffield & District Law Society and a member of the judging panel commented that Kama had reached, and achieved one of the most prestigious positions in law, that of Queens Counsel, despite a challenging upbringing often faced with prejudicial attitudes – her achievement is now inspiring the next generation of lawyers.
