Reece has successfully completed pupillage under the supervision of Paul Abrahams, focusing on both criminal and family law.
Reece prosecutes and defends in a range of matters in both the Youth Court, Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court. He is regularly instructed to deal with an array of complex cases for the Prosecution and Defence involving violence, sexual assault, dishonesty, offensive weapons and road traffic offences.
During his practice he has developed a reputation for high standards of professionalism, a personable approach and strong attention to detail. He recently represented a client accused of a sexual assault, secured a successful outcome in a contested hearing.
Reece has experience of dealing with and supporting people with a range of complex and vulnerable needs. He is recognised for the way in which he supports such individuals during difficult and challenging proceedings. Reece is recognised by both professional and lay clients on his ability to build a rapport and communicate matters of a serious nature in an appropriate and understandable manner.
Reece’s practice encompasses all stages of Children Act cases, including both public (care) and private law children proceedings.
Reece’s work involves representing parents and children in complex cases involving non-accidental injury, serious sexual abuse, including rape as-well as domestic abuse.
Reece has an excellent reputation for his meticulous approach to cases, attention to detail and persuasive arguments.
Reece is recognised for his client-care, particularly his logical and sensitive approach whilst also providing realistic advice, enabling him to help clients work towards settlement when necessary rather than further litigation.
Reece is also experienced in dealing with clients with a range of complex and vulnerable needs and has been commended for his approach during often difficult and emotionally challenging proceedings.
Reece has completed Park Square Barristers’ in-house Financial Remedies training programme, written and delivered by Head of Finance and Deputy District Judge Karen Lennon and is accepting instructions in this area.
