Diversity at Park Square Barristers, Leeds

Diversity findings for our new set

Park Square Barristers was formed in February 2015 by the merger of Sovereign Chambers and No 6. The new set has collected and  published diversity data. Amongst those who responded:

  • Park Square Barristers is in line with the national average when it comes to the proportion of barristers who are female
  • Park Square Barristers is in line with the national average when it comes to the proportion of barristers who are BME
  • The majority attended state secondary school
  • Almost half who went to university were the first generation in their family to do so
  • Evidence was collected of diversity in religion/belief
  • Evidence was collected of diversity in sexual orientation
  • Park Square Barristers includes members with a disability
  • 38 of our members, clerks & support staff are primary carers for a child under 18
