Claire Geller and Albany Kidd start their PSQB pupillage.

Park Square Barristers have two new pupils starting on Monday 11 March.

Claire Geller will be supervised by Matthew Smith in civil and  Kitty Colley  in crime.

Claire began her legal career as an assistant to the Medical Protection Society’s litigation department.

Additionally, she was a serious injury paralegal assisting in the management of Multi-Track Pi claims. In this role Claire also assisted claimants who were involved in concurrent criminal cases such as dangerous driving where she took part in interviews with police officers.

Claire has engaged in many mooting and public speaking events and her talent for advocacy was recognised when she was awarded the senior advocacy scholarship by the University of Law.

Albany Kidd will be supervised by  Jon Harley  and will be based at our Teesside office.

Prior to commencing pupillage Albany worked as a legal advisor at Teesside Magistrates Court. This role gave her a deeper understanding of the criminal justice system and criminal law.

As well as crime, Albany holds a keen interest in Family and Regulatory Law.

Albany has previously undertaken pro bono work through various volunteering positions at legal clinics and charities – including an internship with Advocate.

She has also had research published by the International Red Cross and submitted to the NATO Legal Office.
