Park Square BarristersTwo members of a “Huddersfield Grooming gang” have been convicted of further sexual offences.
Mohammed Akram and Usman Khalid were investigated as part of a gang that groomed and abused girls between 2004 and 2011.

Their 3 week trial is the fourth to take place involving this Operation.
The defendants were charged, tried and convicted for offences of rape, sexual assault and trafficking for sexual exploitation.
The jury could not reach a verdict in relation to offences of child cruelty against two other defendants.
The case was prosecuted by Richard Wright QC, who led Kate Batty and Andrea Parnham.
20 other defendants have been convicted and sentenced at previous trial.
