The  prosecution alleged that the defendant groped and squeezed the bottom of the officer in the early hours of New Years day 2023, whilst she was on patrol with colleagues in Leeds City Centre.

The incident, which was caught on body-worn camera footage was disputed by the defence who claimed that the defendant had bumped into the officer whilst drunk and that she was neither groped or sexually assaulted.  The defendant was found Not Guilty following a 4 day trial.
