Harrogate teenager jailed for life for house party murder

The defendant, Dylan Cranfield, was convicted of murdering his friend, Seb Mitchell, after an argument at a house party in February this year.

Cranfield was jailed for life with a minimum term of 11 years.

Cranfield stabbed Mitchell with a kitchen knife after an argument over a broken mirror at the party.

Peter Moulson KC led Katherine Robinson for the Crown Prosecution Service.

Matthew Harding was the junior for the defence led by Mo Nawaz KC, instructed by Kamrans Solicitors.
