Martina Madarova sentenced at the Old Bailey for manslaughter of five-year old daughter – Julian Jones defends
Park Square BarristersMartina Madarova was today sentenced to five years’ imprisonment in relation to the death of her five-year old daughter, after the Crown accepted a plea to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility. In his sentencing remarks, The Common Serjeant of London, Richard Marks QC, referred to the case as one of the most tragic he had heard. Julian Jones was instructed by Oliver Mather at Lloyds PR Solicitors and was led by Jenni Dempster QC of Red Lion Chambers. Senior Treasury Counsel Duncan Atkinson QC appeared for the Crown.
