Matthew Harding successful in the Court of Appeal
Park Square BarristersR v A: The Apellant had pleaded guilty to an offence of endangering an aircraft. The Court of Appeal accepted Mr Harding’s submissions that the sentencing judge had adopted too high a starting point when determining the custodial term of a suspended sentence order. He had appeared for the Appellant in the Crown Court. The Court observed that the Apellant had been fortunate to receive a suspended sentence for such a serious offence.
