Park Square BarristersIn a case that has attracted national media attention, Richard Wright QC secured a manslaughter acquittal defending Abigail Burling following a 5 week trial at Leeds Crown Court before Mr Justice Spencer.
The case concerned the tragic death of Jordan Burling in 2016.
Three members of Jordan’s family were charged and tried for Manslaughter.
The mother and grandmother of the deceased were convicted of Manslaughter.
The sister, represented by Mr Wright QC, was cleared of manslaughter but convicted of causing or allowing the death of a vulnerable
